I was supposed to drive some documents from Aurora to Longmont today (a distance of about 50 miles-- picking them up from the hospital where my friend's wife is staying and delivering them to my friend's door--but the hospital had a hard time finding a notary (which they have, but they couldn't find her). So it's bad news for my friends, who need the signed documents for their house closing tomorrow, but good news for me because I really did not want to make the drive, particularly in rush hour.  The good news for them is that it looks like the other party will accept e-mailed documents that are signed and notarized, so that no one needs to make the trip to deliver them in person, which is doubly good because I am not free tomorrow.

That entire paragraph probably makes no sense, but the basic gist of it is that I am happy I don't have to drive 100 miles today.

It is sunny and warm, though not as warm as it was over the weekend. I like it better in the mid-60s than in the high 70s.
