This is a public service announcement that advent calendars start today, so whatever kinds of gifts you've got in there, it's time to start gettin' 'em. I opened the first door of my LEGO City advent calendar and got what I think is a boat. Not that it matters much, as I can always repurpose the parts.
It is also World AIDS day.
