Good morning!

I'm trying to be better at checking the Board since FB has gotten downright unwieldy and I missed you all, even the ones I see on FB. It's not the same.

So what's everyone got planned for the next couple of days? Ready for holiday madness?

Tomorrow my big plans consist of making pasta and doing laundry. Maybe watching a couple of episodes of The Man in the High Castle. But mainly nothing.

I am sitting around very bored today waiting for time to go home. I plan to stop at the grocery store on the way home. Doesn't that sound exciting?

I just got invited to Thanksgiving for People Who Have Nowhere Else to Go, so I'm going to take the inviter up on the offer and make pasta later in the weekend. Which means I don't need to stop at the grocery store. I will probably still spend the morning watching The Man in the High Castle, and there's really no excuse for me not to do that laundry.

Wasn't planning on it. But I'll take any excuse to not do my laundry.

We're in Las Vegas to have Thanksgiving dinner with Amy's in-laws. Last time we we were here, we stayed on the Strip, where the ultramodern, high-rise casinos are. This time we're in downtown Las Vega, at the El Cortez hotel in the older section of the city. I just overheard Amy telling her brother on the phone that Bugsy Siegel used to own this hotel.

Later, we're going to the Neon Museum, where signs from demolished casinos go to die.
But us, old friend,
What's to discuss, old friend?
