It is a lovely, hot day today, but not as hot as it's supposed to be tomorrow. I finally turned on my air conditioning at home. I feel as if I'm letting down the entire planet--if I just had a little more tolerance, maybe I could make it through the summer.

It's a pretty dreadful day for birthdays today. At least for living people--it's Antoinette Perry's birthday. But other than that, it's Vera Wang's and one of the Kardashians' (I know which one, but I would like to think I'm above knowing which one).
