Laundry has been the only thing of any importance that I've done today. It is a hot-but-not-extremely-hot day outside--the kind of day that makes me happy for air conditioning but not the kind that makes me reluctant to leave it for a few minutes.

Happy birthday to Ringo Starr and Shelley Duvall. And congratulations to the U.S. women's soccer/football team, who won the World Cup today.
