It's Sunday, and I am craving Chinese food for lunch, but I have some salad greens that I need to use. Maybe if I have a nice, healthy portion of salad for lunch, I can reward myself for dinner with some Chinese food. Or maybe I can just forget about it and make myself something with the food I have in the house.
Happy Superb Owl Sunday.
I started a thread for today but apparently I got signed out and it didn't post. :'( :'( ;D I didn't feel like retyping it as I had to head to work. Here's the gist: We got more snow today. We're getting up to 21" over the next 10 days. I went out to snow blow the driveway and sidewalk before I left for work. The snow was light and fluffy.
I was going to watch "Simply Sondheim" at work tonight but ended up watching the Super Bowl with some co-workers. We ordered Japanese for dinner. As a nod to the Super Bowl I order the Heart Attack. They are tempura battered jalapeƱos stuffed with cream cheese and spicy tuna. They are pretty good. I ordered too much food and will have leftovers for lunch and/or dinner tomorrow.
I haven't yet watched Simply Sondheim either, though I bought the ticket and had been vaguely planning on seeing it this past weekend. Now I kinda want to save it for sometime when I need the pick-me-up. Or maybe I'll watch it over the upcoming (three-day) weekend.
