Yesterday was another Monday, the third of the week. Today feels more like Thursday. I went to Costco and came back with more than I intended to get (they had pretzels and chicken nuggets on sale). I did not buy a geranium, although I was tempted to. They were only $12 for a large pot, but then I thought about how I tend to kill plants and how it wasn't fair to the poor geranium if I were to buy it. I also did not buy a polo shirt, a set of two pairs of shorts or a set of nonstick pans.
I really shouldn't have gotten those pretzels. I have probably consumed my daily allowance of sodium just from eating pretzels today.
One of the last times I went to Costco I was going to purchase a couple of specific things. Then I added a couple of items. And suddenly I was paying $115 at the register. It's amazing how large bags of food can add up so quickly! I now have enough frozen fruit to make smoothies to last for quite some time. (It wasn't all food that trip but a lot of it was.)
