There's not much to report today. A man rang my doorbell and asked if he could park his truck in my driveway while he worked on the house next door. That was six hours ago, and his truck is still in my driveway. Fortunately I don't need to go anywhere. Bernadette went crazy when I opened the front door--she ran out, madly barking and wagging her tail, and fortunately the man didn't take it as a threat, but just someone trying to guard her home. She warmed up to him in a few minutes. She likes to bark at new people and new dogs, but her tail is wagging a mile a minute when she does so. I have yet to experience what happens when she runs into a person she's already met--if she goes ballistic or is calmer.
