I realize this is SO not news to anybody on the other side of the Atlantic, but it's kind of a big deal here in the Continental U.S. We're supposed to get about 90% of totality here in Denver. I know Connie and Bookman George are going to get even more than that.
I just came in from seeing the eclipse at about 25%.
The freeways are really jammed with people going to Wyoming or Nebraska.
This is also a good day to reread Dolores Claiborne" or watch the movie because much of the plot revolves around what happened during the eclipse.
What was really cool (besides the eclipse itself):
There was some guy walking down the street looking at all of us looking up at the sky with our eclipse glasses on, so we invited him to join us and passed a pair of glasses around. We ended up talking with him for about half an hour while watching the sky.
It was very cool! And strange!
By this time tomorrow those "Beautiful Girls" will have made their entrance! ;D
Eclipse was boring here. Just a darker than usual, overcast morning. I am jealous of the meet ups across the pond. I need to make even more money.
