After I posted that it was warm and windy yesterday, it rained a little, and then really rained last night. It was still somewhat warm during the day. It knocked a lot of leaves off of trees and made it look as if our lawn care service didn't do anything the day before, when in fact they did a lot.
It's still supposed to be warm today, although not as warm as it was last weekend, and not as warm as it's going to be on Friday.
We had overnight rain as well but I slept through it. We were to get a fall Nor'easter rain storm but I don't think my area got hit as hard as was predicted. The basement not only did not flood but didn't even get damp in the corner that usually gets damp. That tells me the rain didn't come down in a burst of furious rainfall but was either spread out and/or not much. I suppose I could check to see how much rain we actually got but I'm content knowing we came through the storm with flying colors.
