Title: 9 July 2022 Headed toward a hundred
Post by: KathyB on Jul 09, 2022, 04:41 PM
It was 100° where I was today, which was just outside Greeley, Colorado. Back home, it's only 99°, and I'm willing it to get that one degree higher, because at least then it seems like the heat accomplished something. We're under a heat advisory. I need to do laundry, but I am going to wait until after 7 pm because we have new, tiered electricity rates starting this summer, and 7 pm is when they drop to a lower tier. I believe there is another tier that's even lower if I want to wait until 11 pm, but I really don't want to be doing laundry at midnight.

I really do not want to take the dog for a walk when it's 99°.

The only reason I'm not liking your post, Kathy, is the heat.  Blech!!!!!   I hope it cooled off a bit before you had to take Bernadette out for her walk.
