In about 30 minutes we leave to drive up to a family BBQ hosted by one of my mother's siblings. It should be a nice time. I know there will be cheese & crackers as well as shrimp for appetizers. And there will be salad and birthday cake. Based on past years I'm sure there will be chicken and red meat. This is the first time the summer get-together has been held since COVID. It's nice to see annual traditions coming back.
