Today is supposedly National Macaroni and Cheese Day (when I get the news in an e-mail from Noodles & Co., I'm a little suspicious, but I am not in the mood to verify this fact). What that means in practical terms, besides a time to celebrate a great pasta dish, is that I can get a regular size order of M&C for $3 at Noodles & Co. all weekend, which is more expensive than a box of Kraft, but I don't have to cook it, and less expensive than a box of frozen Stouffer's. I got my M&C for today (Friday), which was delicious, and I'm thinking it sounds like a good idea for Saturday and Sunday as well.
It is a lovely day outside today--not too hot, and a good day to open the windows of the house.
