Title: 21-FEB-18 How Hot Is It?
Post by: DiveMilw on Feb 21, 2018, 01:52 PM
Actually, it is beautiful out.  I want to leave my window open a bit tonight but the temps are supposed to fall and we might get some snowfall overnight.  It is predicted to melt as soon as it touches the ground.

The afternoon is so nice that the neighbor kids set up a table in their driveway and appear to be doing their homework outside!

It's so hot that...our cats are melting. Of course, they do that every afternoon after they eat. And it's only 60 degrees here, which is moderately chilly by SoCal standards.

Our temperature swings made the national news--or at least the MSN version of it. It was enough for my uncle to e-mail me to make sure it was true. It was 69 degrees here on Sunday, and it dropped to -4 with snow on Monday night/Tuesday morning. It's something like 20 degrees now.

That is horrible.  I don't know if I could handle that drastic of a temp swing.
In other news......everyone in the greater Denver area has come down with a cold or the flu.   ::)
