Today is the day before the day I have the root canal, which was started before I went on vacation, finished. It is also the day before we get election results. I'm trying not to focus on the election because I don't want to drive myself nuts.
For those who DO want to drive themselves nuts, this page at the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/11/06/us/elections/results-house-elections.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage) gives you election results in real time without having to refresh the screen first. I could stare at it for hours -- and probably will.

Look! There's my House district called out as a "key race."
I voted a week and a half ago. I'm just happy to see all the campaign ads and mailers go away.
