I tried out my new Sous Vide device yesterday. I ate what I cooked for lunch today so that's how I'm justifying the title. To sous vide you basically cook your food in a plastic bag or sealed glass container in a bath of hot water. The water is kept at a constant temp you so can do a longer cook with no worry of overcooking. I made a steak and then did some potatoes and summer squash. I finished the steak on the grill to give it some color a bit of char. I must say that the results were quite yummy and I look forward to more sous vide cooking.
