Title: Dunkirk
Post by: George on Jul 24, 2017, 07:34 AM
I'm really looking forward to this. We plan on going to the IMAX on Wednesday.

I'm mostly interested to see how Christopher Nolan handles this material. He's a very visual director, and I think the most successful movies are ones that have a serious grip on visuals. I'm also intrigued about how this story fits among his other works, which are admittedly sci-fi/fantasy-driven.

We've invited my dad, a 92 year-old WWII vet, is going to join us. He's a WWII movie and documentary junkie. We just have to wait to see if he has time in his schedule to go. I swear we can't keep track of him sometimes. He just keeps going, and going, and going....

What? You mean this wasn't a remake of Hogan's Heroes?
