Title: 23-APR-20 Beautiful Music
Post by: DiveMilw on Apr 23, 2020, 11:26 AM
I've been watching/listening to this concert the past few days.  The music is relaxing and soothing and energizing.  It is just what I need right now.  And it's the perfect background to read or nap.

I got pizza for lunch, and it is delicious, although not in any way good for me.

Something positive for today: It is William Shakespeare's birthday.

Last night while chatting with Kis on FaceTime, I watched her fry the remaining two chicken breasts from the night before, so I can now attest that it was a real thing and that it at least looked positively mouth-watering.

Pizza sounds tempting too, though.  I might have to follow your example and order some.

Happy belated birthday to Shakespeare!  Yesterday I was listening to "Fear No More" from The Frogs and trying to decide which rendition I like better:  Michael Siberry on the Lincoln Center OBCR, Davis Gaines on the 2001 studio recording, or George Hearn on The Collector's Sondheim.  I kept wishing I could hear Hearn -- the best singer of the three, IMO -- with the Lincoln Center orchestration.
