Now I'm one of the few who really loved this film.  What about you all?  @Chris L?

This is a great article about it.

My memories of it are vague. I caught it on streaming last year and must have watched it out of the side of one eye, because my main memory is Eddie Redmayne hamming it up as some sort of alien overlord and Mila Kunis turning out to be a galactic princess. Oh, and didn't Channing Tatum have wings or something? I don't recall thinking it was bad, but I don't remember being overly enamored of it either. (I hadn't heard anything about it before I watched, so I wasn't aware of its awful reputation.) Maybe I should watch it again. I do remember that it was beautifully filmed, but everything by the Wachowskis is.

Yes, it's not a film you can watch with side eye.  Give it another go.
