It is a rainy day today, which I'm finding to be a much better option than 90°. The 90s will come, and I don't mind waiting as long as possible before they begin.
We went on a longish walk this morning before it started raining. Now we are taking it easy and doing NOTHING. I thought about teaching Bernadette how to do laundry, but decided against it. She would much rather chew my laundry instead. I need to figure out where to put dirty laundry so she won't get into it.
I had a surprise day off today. A couple of weeks ago I had posted today's shift for anyone to take/pick up. I was trying to create a four day weekend. No one took it and I forgot all about it. For some reason as I was waking up I decided to check our scheduling system to double check my shift and found out that one of my co-workers picked it up yesterday morning. What a nice surprise!
