Nothing like hearing Sondheim's glorious songs accompanied by a full orchestra.
This one-night performance of Sondheim on Sondheim at the Hollywood Bowl (http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/tickets/sondheim-on-sondheim/2017-07-23) will actually feature two orchestra, the LA Philharmonic and YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles), conducted by our own maestro, Gustavo Dudamel plus a whole bunch of stars.
@Chris L and I will be there. If any of you other LA-area Sondheads will be there, we'd love to meet you (or see you if we've already met).
Much of the show is on youtube and posted on Facebook. I was able to see most of it that way since coming to LA was not a possibility. If you were there then you were a very lucky person.
