Title: 22-Jun-17: Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning, Good...

So, can't remember whether I've massively breached any FTC protocols by starting the Daily Thread two days in a row, but here it is...!!

And yes, I too have been on a Sgt Pepper 50th Anniversary listening binge :D

Lunch time here now and a much more sensible temperature today - there is even a breeze! I'm on here to avoid doing the housework that I have been putting off for three days because it was too hot. Not much else exciting happening here today.

Good morning all!!!  I can't figure out how to do pictures but I will work on that later.  For right now, I will just say good morning as a married lady!  It was very small and perfect. I will share pics when I can figure that shit out.

Today I turned the water to the outside spigot back on.  I think it has been off for two years now.  Last year I went inside to fill up the watering cans so I could water the plants in containers and hanging baskets.  This year I finally decided to figure out where in the basement the shut off valve lives.  That was easy!  So I went outside and turned on the water.  For years we have had some spray coming from the spigot....I never bothered to figure out exactly where it was coming from.  I figured it was coming from where the 'Y' connector hooked onto the faucet.  I was wrong.  It was coming from where the knob attaches to the pipe/assembly thing.  Anyway, I was trying to move things to get the spray to a manageable level and the knob came off in my hand.  I ran downstairs and turned the water back off.  Now I can clearly see where the assembly has cracked.  We are going to have to get that completely replaced.  In the meantime I'll be filling up empty milk jugs inside the house so I can water the plants!

Just when I think I might be acclimating to the heat I go outside for an extended period of time.  Granted, this is the hottest part of the day but it still feels hotter than I expected.

I rarely discuss weather, but I have to get pass being a Newbie!!!

It was reaching almost unbearable heat yesterday (it hit 95) and I think it was suppose to worse today, but the remnants of Topical Storm Cindy is heading our way and has cool it off nicely!

It's cooled off enough in Long Beach that I've actually closed the windows and put on a hoodie. I could turn on the heat, but it's going up to a whopping 73 degrees by mid-afternoon, so I'm not going to bother. That's the temperature when I usually start thinking about opening the windows again.

(I rarely talk about weather, but when I do I prefer it to be warm sun and cool, tropical breezes. Stay comfortable, my friends.)
