If you are seeing this post, you are seeing Sondheim Forum in its new home. My Digital Ocean (https://www.digitalocean.com) server. I now have more control over everything, including the ability to automatically back up the forum database, which I will do nightly from now on. The only way I could back up the database before was to do it manually through an browser interface. My buddy at work, Paul, helped me set everything up and now we're just humming along.
The domain sondheimforum.com is still registered with the old hosting service Dotster but I'm going to switch that over in a couple of days to Google Domains, which is cheaper and offers private registration for free (everyone else charges for it). Dotster was annoying and salesy and I'm happy to be rid of them.
I did happen to try to log on during the move. I got the maintenance message and practiced being patient. O:-)
