The emoji lyrics game is proving a bit more difficult than I anticipated, so in this game we can use the actual lyrics. Post a few words from a Sondheim song and then someone else can identify the song. That person posts the next lyric. An easy one to start with:

"Everybody dies."
But us, old friend,
What's to discuss, old friend?

MartinG

Ladies Who Lunch

"...time for dreaming."
Morals tomorrow

This sounds like it should be from West Side Story, but I can't find it in any of the songs that seem likely.
But us, old friend,
What's to discuss, old friend?

This is probably "Happiness" from PASSION, but it can also be "Too Many Mornings" from FOLLIES
I was born to ask "why was I born?"

I was born to ask "why was I born?"

I knew it was Anyone Can Whistle but had shamefully forgotten the title - The Lame, the Halt and the Blind of course.

Not "full of"?  Just checking.
