As far as weather goes, I think I have you all beat. I'm in Las Vegas until Sunday. Today the temp reached 117F. That's 47.22C for you Brits. But it's a dry heat!

According to a report I heard, that's the "shade temperature." In the sun it feels like 130F. But that's in Death Valley. Las Vegas at least has air conditioning.

I think "We cooked some burgers on an hibachi" sounds really stupid. Maybe that's because "hibachi" is of Japanese origin?
