I'm not sure how I feel about these two shows.  I like parts but definitely dislike other parts.

The Inhuman characters are not very likable.  The only character I really care about is the dog.  Frankly, I hope humanity wins the war against the Inhumans because they aren't very nice people.

The Gifted is a decent show.  I just feel that it is aimed at Junior High School students so I'm totally not the audience.  It is a good show to watch/listen to while I'm folding laundry or cleaning.

I'm about halfway through the first episode of The Inhumans. I'll probably watch more because they're clearly taking some of the material from Marvel's limited run Inhumans comic from the 90s (the girl coming out of the terrigen with wings, for instance, and the dog), which was excellent, but the direction and much of the acting is pedestrian. I wonder, though, if this season's SHIELD story will flow out of this show, given that shot of Coulson with the earth hanging in the sky behind him at the end of last season.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that dog was around when the Inhumans first appeared in The Fantastic Four back in the 60s.

Finally remembered.  The dog's name is Lockjaw.  He's so huge.  He's so cute!

Yeah, Jack Kirby created Lockjaw in The Fantastic Four circa 1965, the kind of larger than life creature Kirby loved. I liked the way, on the show, that you first see him in closeup, looking like a cute puppy. Then you see him next to someone and you realize he's almost as tall as she is.
