George isn't here yet (though I expect to see him soon), but I'm going to steal one of his old games. As a clue, give the first five words (give or take a couple of words) of a song, be it pop, rock or Broadway. (We have no restrictions here on musical taste.) The first person to correctly guess what song the lyrics are from gets to give the next clue. I'll start with an easy one:

Isn't it warm? Isn't it rosy?
But us, old friend,
What's to discuss, old friend?

Side by Side by Side :)

We'll stick with the easy ones for now: We become indiscreet eating sweet after sweet

When I was a girl...
"There's such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I'm such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn't be half so interesting." -Anne of Green Gables

I want to say "So What" from Cabaret, but those aren't actually the opening lyrics.
But us, old friend,
What's to discuss, old friend?

All I can think of is When I was a girl I used to scream and shout, but that's a play (by Sharman MacDonald, mother of Kiera Knightley fwiw)

That's okay, @JustTheOneAnne! I think we can survive for an hour or two without an answer. ;)

I'm not sure @JustTheOneAnne qualifies as a kid anymore. I met her last fall and I swear she was almost as tall as me. ;)
