It's Friday the 13th and there is a full moon and it's the year 2020.  What could go wrong?  

I saw that on a meme but some checking reveals that there is not going to be a full moon tonight.  I can't believe something I read on the internet was incorrect.  The full moon for November will be on the 30th and it will be a Beaver Moon.  That means it is first full moon in the month of November. The time of the Beaver Moon was the time for both the colonists and the Algonquin tribes to set beaver traps to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. This full moon is also known as the Frost Moon because it's about the time of the first frosts.  (that information is courtesy of Google.  I did not know that off the top of my head.   )

So, there is a new moon on Sunday the 15th (according to my calendar), and thus today is two days before the new moon. I'm sure that means something significant, but I don't feel like looking it up.
