Once a quarter, or maybe it was twice a year, the department store, Marshall Fields, would have a "Super Sunday" sale.  You could find all the usual sale prices plus tremendous discounts on past season merchandise or things they found in a corner of the warehouse or they bought specifically for the sale.  I'm not really sure where all the stuff came from.  The Housewares Department would generally have the best deals.  I miss Marshall Fields. 

Today is "Supervisor Sunday" for me.  One of our supervisors is out on medical leave and I'll be covering for her at the gate today.  Wish me luck!  I'm hoping the east coast, Dallas, and Chicago are having perfect weather this evening to help the flights leave on time.

Sunday at work turned out to be Mostly Super Sunday.  We had a brief mechanical delay on one of the CLT (Charlotte, NC) flights, a college team of soccer players missed the next CLT flight (they were late to the airport and we couldn't hold long enough for them to get through security & down to the gate, plus they had checked bags. I don't know the reason for the delay but they didn't get to the ticket counter until boarding time) and then we had some assorted small issues with DFW including a passenger who wasn't feeling well and had to deplane.  Really, that is a somewhat typical day at the airport.

We also had to valet check this guy on our last flight to DCA!
