Today's weather is stealthy.  It doesn't seem like it is too hot out and then all of a sudden, WHAM!, the heat hits you all at once. I should have done more yard work yesterday when it was cooler but I didn't.  I will brave the heat for short periods of time and retreat to the air conditioning when needed.    < that's me being "cool"

It's just hot here. No humidity. My handyperson is coming tomorrow to look at the ceiling fan, and hopefully it won't be much of an issue to fix it. It's actually cooler (92°F) than I thought it was supposed to be.

I came thisclose to mowing the front lawn earlier this evening.  But I decided the heat was too much for me.  I was not a total sloth in regards to the yard.  I pulled a bunch of weeds.  The front lawn looks a little bit better now.
