Today is cold. It was supposed to be snowing, but it hasn't yet, so I took the opportunity to fill up my tank. Everybody else had the same idea. Costco gasoline was very crowded, but it was refreshingly orderly, with no one honking or cutting in line or doing anything else obnoxious. The forecast is for a couple of inches of snow before tomorrow afternoon.

When I was in Phoenix last month I wanted to fill the tank of the rental car at Costco.  The lines were long and went into the road.  The area to line up the cars was a little short so that's not quite as bad as it may seem. But it was like that on a Friday when I had an appointment to get my COVID test at a clinic next door and then again on Sunday.  I wouldn't have minded the line but I didn't want to be in line on the street waiting to turn left into the gas station.
