01-SEP-21 No Mowing Today

The remnants of Hurricane Ida played a trick on me and brought rain showers this morning.  The last I had heard the rain wasn't supposed to start until this afternoon. Sadly, that means I won't be able to mow the lawn today.    I am a little bit sad about this because the back yard got ignored last week and the rain will mean the grass is going to have another growth spurt.  Maybe the rain predicted for tomorrow will end early and I can get some lawn maintenance done in the afternoon. In the meantime I'm off to get the car's oil changed and the tires rotated.  Adulting is so glamorous!

Today my big plans include shopping for Coca-Cola, which is on sale for Labor Day just as I am down to my final two cans.
