It's something like 97° outside, and I really don't feel like going out for a walk. I think today I'll wait until 6:30 or so (hoping that doesn't lead to stains on my carpet from someone having to hold it for too long).

I have not opened the container of pork rinds yet. I thought about it at least three times yesterday.

Does it really mess up a dog's digestive system if they eat human food? Yesterday I dropped a box of cereal, and I picked up as much as I could, but then let Bernadette take care of the rest of it. She definitely did a better job than the vacuum could. I always thought this was one of the advantages of having a dog. But a friend is telling me that dogs shouldn't be eating human food. How much have I damaged Bernadette by letting her eat the remains of a box of Crispix? (I didn't give her dinner last night because I figured that the Crispix counted as one of her meals.)

We are finally starting to have some nice consistently Fall-ish weather. I hope it cools down soon for you, Kathy.  Thinking I'd take the a/c unit out of my bedroom window I was looking at the coming week's forecast.  Yuck!  We are supposed to have temps in the mid to high 80s.  So I guess I was wrong about the consistency of fall temperatures.
I no longer long for the old view!
