I just purchased my symphony ticket for September 24. I have not been to the symphony in about ten years. Our symphony performs in the round, and I used to love to sit right behind the orchestra, but the symphony has since caught on that those were desirable seats rather than terrible ones, so they're now the most expensive seats available rather than the least expensive, and there weren't any available for the performance I wanted. I ended up paying about $10 in fees for what was originally a $33 ticket. That really bothers me. I kind of wish they had just said the ticket was $43 up front.

Nothing else is going on today. It is a wonderful day today, with a high temp of about 73°.
