24 October 2022 I voted!

I dropped off my ballot in the ballot drop-off box today, so I am finished with voting, and I only wish that it would bring an end to the enormous number of political ads that are on during Jeopardy! It is a really nice day outside today. We may have to go on a longer walk.

That's about all that's going on.

I wish I could vote this year.  I do not have a permanent residence in TX yet and the deadline for registering was Oct 11th.  I do not feel I should vote in CT since I no longer live there.  Sigh.  The timing for this one did not work out well.  My vote really could make a difference here.  

Also, may I rant for a second?  I can't believe there are still states where you can't register to vote on the day before the election or some amount of time less than nearly a month prior.  And these are often states where people claim they are "protecting" the right to vote when it actually does the opposite.  //endrant
