Friday the 13th 2023

Today has definitely felt like Friday the 13th. I had to pick up a friend's service dog at the hospital, and then drive her to her home 60 miles away, because otherwise she would have ended up in a shelter (temporarily, but not something that the family was counting on). I just got back from the return trip, and I am very tired, and I hate driving at night, and the only thing that was good about this drive was how little of it was in heavy traffic, even during rush hour. Not many people are going from Denver to Greeley. I did end up on the toll road with less traffic instead of the free road with ugly traffic, so I'll see how much I ended up paying for that. 

All I want to do is go to bed, snuggle with the dog and elevate my ankle. Goodnight.
