In addition to losing an hour of sleep, I went to Safeway to get some Haagen-Dazs ice cream bars, and they were out of all of them. I then went to Home Depot to get some LED replacements for fluorescent tubes, and they don't work. They came with some extra wiring, so apparently I need to easily rewire the ballast to have these tubes work. "Easy" being a judgment call. There is absolutely no light in the bathroom when the fixture is off, so I'm already thinking it won't be as easy as it says it is, and I should find either (a) some replacement bulbs that don't require rewiring, or (b) a professional to come and do the easy job of rewiring.
