I got a violation letter from my HOA today because my weeds and my tree are overgrown. This tree is my responsibility because it is inside the fence. I have ten days to take care of the situation and provide visual evidence that I have done so. I'm wondering what they'll do if I just cut the tree back without taking a picture and sending it in. Anyway, the HOA's visual evidence of my violation is below.

Well, I'm not "liking" your post because HOAs are sometimes the Devil's work.   >:D

In the category of "I put it off way too long" I submit......I finally switched my car insurance over to TX no greater than 15 minutes ago.   :-X
So, now I can get my car inspected and registered and then I can get a TX driver's license.  Why the sudden interest in taking care of all this?  Because my CT license expires next month.   :o ::) :-[  I hope I can get all of this done within the next three weeks.
I no longer long for the old view!

I just left a message with the city Forestry Division, because of the possibility of having to treat this tree for emerald ash borer. Apparently the city won't even allow new ash trees to be planted because of EAB. I don't think this is what my HOA was trying to get me to do. I'm hoping I don't need to remove the tree.
