I was prepared to start this thread with news about the incredible show I saw this afternoon, only it wasn't that incredible. The show was called The Suffragette's Murder and it took place in an 1857 boarding house with all kinds of guests. I think the director was going for "let's have everyone overact their part." I didn't think the script was all that great. (The murder takes place offstage.) I think this play would have been improved by a talkback afterwards, partly so I could understand what messages they were trying to convey, but I missed the performance where they had one.

It wasn't boring, though!
