I have to work tomorrow and then I'm off to Scottsdale, AZ for some much looked forward to vacation!!  
This weekend is the first weekend of Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour.  This year 44 studios/homes have opened to the public.  Most of them will host multiple artists.  It takes three days to see them all.  Seeing art can be exhausting.   Even more exhausting is having exercising restraint and not buying every piece you like.

Two of my favorite artists are Kathy Q Parks and Scarlett Fiona Reed.  The level of talent in the area is off the charts.  There are several others I like and I bought a few small pieces from them.  The catalog for the show is on the website if you want to take a look.

I went to the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts one year and really fell in love with some etchings/aquatints. They were out of my price range.  They were beautiful etchings of African and North American wildlife. I should have bought some art anyway. I took the artist's card and used it for a bookmark, but I misplaced it and can't remember the artist's name.   

I put my name on a waiting list for a MacBook Pro at Micro Center.

Today is a busy day. I had a medical screening appointment earlier, and the occupational therapist comes in about 15 minutes. Then I have a Zoom meeting at 4:00, and I think I'm going to skip our HOA's budget ratification meeting at 6:00. I'm not that interested, and it's at the same time as Jeopardy!
