It's my father's birthday today.  I bought him a carrot cake yesterday which I hid in the back of the bottom shelf in the refrigerator so he wouldn't find it.  Today I brought him and mom to Kohl's so he could get some new tennis shoes.  Mom thinks it has been ten years since he got new ones.  He got two pairs as well as four pairs of shorts!
