Today's high temperature is supposed to be in the 70s F (not sure what that is in Celsius, but it's pleasantly cool). Tomorrow is supposed to get up to the low 80s. I like weather where I don't have to have the air conditioner on.  Hopefully it will last through the week.

Nothing else to report, except it seems very Mondayish.

And it just keeps getting more Mondayish. :(

Hope it gets a little Fridayish later in the day.  Or maybe it just needs to get a little cheesecakeish.
Today is even hotter than yesterday....I think.  I'm not spending enough time outside to figure out if it is true.  I do know that it took longer to warm up than was predicted and that the airport's air conditioning was keeping up with the temps.
I had a happy moment at work when I found out that applying for an Australian e-Visa costs only $20 AUD instead of the $120 I had gotten it into my head that it cost.  I feel like I just figured out a way to save myself $100AUD/$73 USD.
I no longer long for the old view!

While today wasn't a truly awful day at work (except for the heat, which was pretty unbearable, and largely inescapable for almost the entire day), there were a number of times when I really wanted to throttle someone.

Needless to say, I didn't.  And fortunately, by the end, when a ten-hour workday turned into a twelve-hour one, I was comfortably ensconced in an air-conditioned hotel suite with only a few other people working quietly nearby (whereas earlier, the whole place had been crawling with electricians and set dressers).  I was initially reluctant, and a bit annoyed, to put in the extra two hours; but they actually turned out to be the most pleasant part of my day, so in the end I was glad I stayed.

Indeed, I actually got on a bit of a roll at the eleventh (and twelfth) hour, and the progress I made should help make tomorrow less stressful.  Plus, of course, the extra overtime will be nice come payday.

Tomorrow I'll be back at the same hotel, on two different floors, probably for the entire day -- and the shooting crew isn't due to get there until midafternoon.  The work I need to finish before they arrive seems manageable, partly because the extra two hours this evening gave me a decent start.  So, assuming no major new unexpected nightmares pop up (KNOCK ON WOOD), it should be a pretty decent day.
