It's the season of holiday parties and last night (10 minutes ago my time) we had our work party.  I worked until 8:30 PM but went afterward.  It was nice and the food was great.  Wish I could have made it over sooner but I'm very glad I went.  I've got a small party to attend tonight.   Oh! And one of my co-workers is retiring.  Today is her last day of work although she's not leaving the company until next February or March.  We are having a potluck to celebrate her 40 plus years with the company.  I'm off but will be stopping in for a bit.

I only had to wait in line at the post office 15 minutes! Hooray! (At that branch, 15 minutes is comparable to non-holiday hours.) When I got home, my phone was sitting next to the computer, right where I had left it, and I swear it is giving me a funny look as if to say "Why did you leave me here all alone all day?"
