"Treacherous" referring to the road conditions. It snowed about four inches at my house, but the roads weren't cleared very well, and people were sliding all over the place and going through red lights. When I got to where I was going--a distance of ten miles--it had only snowed about half an inch and the sun was out. It took me an hour and 15 minutes to get there/here, and I feel very overdressed in my sweater and snow boots.
