09-MAR-19 Laid Back Saturday

Working the mid-shift on a Saturday afternoon is supposed to be laid back and relaxed.  We have a greatly reduced flight schedule and smaller aircraft.  Hopefully this will be true today as well.  I have a bunch of online training courses I need to get done.  I should be able to finish one or two today if all goes well.  It wasn't a concern until I was reminded yesterday that I'm in charge of the ticket counter today because I swapped shifts with the supervisor.  There have been quite a few odd "deals" lately and they tend to be time consuming.  I'm sure I'll get a course started if not finished.  I just might not be as productive as I had hoped.

So far today I've gone out for a salad and had a four-hour-long  phone conversation with a friend. I guess it's been pretty laid back around here as well.

Last night's hockey game was terrible. Hopefully next week will be better. It's the playoffs next week.
