April is the cruelest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.

Usually at this time I'm stressed about my taxes (which I still am, as I have no clue when I'll be able to get them done). I'm stressed about plenty of other things now. I usually have a newsletter to work on this month, and I don't know whether they're publishing one or not. That's a pretty easy situation to take care of--I just need to e-mail the client and ask them if they're doing a newsletter this month, but I guess I'm afraid of what they'll say.

The weather is very nice today, but it's the calm before the snow comes tomorrow.

Something positive for today: The grocery store wasn't as crowded as I expected, and they had pasta. Also, I have the chance to re-explore my favorite poet.

I thought you were going to quote "The Hollow Men".

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but with a whimper.

You are very lucky to find pasta!  Most places I've been are out or have a VERY select assortment, usually of the gluten free variety.  I did run across toilet paper at Target this morning.  I bought a pack to give to co-workers who aren't having as much luck finding it.
I no longer long for the old view!
