Due to the Labor Day weekend we had less flights scheduled today and I left work an hour early.  I headed up to Six Flags New England to activate my new membership.  I usually get a Season Pass but this year they took away the benefit of using your pass at any Six Flags.  I had to switch to a monthly membership to get that feature.  And you have to "activate" the membership at your home park before you use it at another park.  I knew I'd have time tonight so I took advantage of it.  This will probably be the last year I have a pass or membership at Six Flags.  I don't go as much as I used to.  On the other hand, there are quite a few locations I haven't been to yet and it would be fun to hit them all!

PS - I'm planning on going to Magic Mountain in January so it was important to get the ability to go to any park.  I think I'll try to visit a couple of other parks in the coming 12 months, which is the minimum number of months I have to keep the membership active.  (It's a monthly payment which I also dislike.  It doesn't have a set end date so you could keep paying forever if you don't watch your charge card.)
