As I was driving into work it started raining.  It was raining when I placed my order at Taco Bell on the way to work.  It was raining so much that I rolled my window back up while waiting for my order.  It was supposed to be raining when I left work.  

Because of all of the above and the fact that I am a Delicate Flower I decided to Princess Park in the garage across from the terminal.  I didn't want the hassle of finding a spot in the very crowded employee parking lot (yesterday I was directed by an attendant to park in a place clearly marked as not a parking space), have to walk a mile into the terminal, and attempt to carry an umbrella in addition to all the other stuff I was carrying.  It was worth the $14.89 even though it wasn't raining when I left work.  I don't do this too often but every now and then it makes a difference to my (delicate) quality of life.

No rain here. We went to McDonald's and were completely ignored by the first drive-thru operator/microphone, so I circled around the parking lot, got in the other lane, and was able to place my exciting order for a 6 McNuggets bundle and a large Coke. I didn't get anything for Bernadette--she just came along for the ride.

She must be a very happy young lady, getting to spend so much quality time with her person!

It's been intermittently overcast here this weekend, but the temperature is gorgeous -- hovering around the mid-70s -- and there have been beautiful sunny spells to balance out the occasional drizzle.  I wouldn't object if it were to stay like this for awhile.
