20-SEP-21 Manic Monday

Today started out in an absolute frenzy.  When I got to work at 11AM our 6AM flight was delayed until 4PM (it eventually left at 7:30PM due to maintenance...they brought another plane in so we could use that one instead) and our 10AM flight was delayed until 12PM.  We also had our regularly scheduled 11:15, 11:45, and 11:47 flights to work and we had a few callouts and were short staffed. 

I started 15 minutes early so I could make the Gate Schedule (who would be working what flight for the afternoon) since I was in charge at the gate today and wasn't going to have a chance to do that until 2:30PM at the earliest if I hadn't done it then.  I also got the other 11AM person to start 15 mins early.  We needed every minute and we had some controlled chaos until we got those four flights out.  It was intense but definitely started the day with a shot of adrenaline.

My big accomplishments for the day:
1. changing the furnace filter
2. giving Bernadette her heartworm medication
3. taking the trash and the recycling out
4. finally meeting the neighbor three doors over who has lived there for 16 years.
