This weekend is beautiful. Highs near 60°, bright and sunny. This is before a cold front comes through on Monday night bringing snow (hopefully not too much) and very cold temperatures that will stick around for the better part of the week. But that's a couple of days away. Today we may be able to go for a walk without a jacket.

I have determined that figure skating ought to take a page from snowboarding and freestyle skiing. They won't have "quads" any more--they'll be "1440s." A double Axel will be a 900. I think it will open both sports up to new groups of fans.

I am starting to learn my 180-times tables from watching snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
